Jade & James

I can honestly say that with every booking I receive, I also gain a set of new friends- and this was particularly true with Jade & James. I met this beautiful couple a few weeks prior to their wedding day for a relaxed engagement session (turned almost-muddy hike) and fell in love with the connection between them. I was so honoured to have been chosen to capture their day, as I am with every booking I’m blessed with. 

I tend not to direct my couples very much anyway, but James & Jade just fell into their own natural habits and comfortability. This was also the case with their wedding day. 

The couple got married at the beautiful Pheasantry Brewery in Newark- and what a gorgeous location it was! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The staff was lovely- super family orientated, organised, and they had decorated the venue so beautifully. The venue itself has some gorgeous photo spots to take advantage of, including a tree swing (which.. I obviously had to test out before anybody else- for safety! Maybe..) 

I will say that it definitely pays to have met and have had a session with me leading up to the big day. I find that couples are always so much more relaxed around me, and it allows me to move past that initial awkward barrier. It also just makes the process a whole lot nicer when you can say you have a friend arriving to take photos, than just a supplier with an invoice!

I honestly wish this couple all the happiness in the world, you radiate love and good vibes- and I hope that everyone can strive for this in their relationships.
