Your Wedding Photographer in South Wales
So, I suppose if you managed to find yourself here, then you’re hoping to get to know me a little better, eh?!
If you haven’t gathered already, my name is Heather. I am the Founder and main photographer for Honey & Heather. In 2021, after a re-brand, I started this new company after having done weddings for a few years already. I am a twenty-something, travel-addicted, dog-obsessed, picture taking maniac- who adores capturing couples in love. And, occasionally some *sexy AF* lingerie wearing ladies. (See my boudoir website for more info on that!) I am often found exploring the world with my camera in hand, doing some crazy stuff, usually with even crazier people!
How did I get into weddings? My photographic journey began with hiking, primarily documenting the landscapes in front of me. While I still document these landscapes when travelling, I always felt like there was a subject missing to my images!
I was asked to shoot a family friend’s wedding when I was 17, and though incredibly apprehensive I decided i’d give it a shot. You will never EVER see those photos. I can honestly say, I was not the picture-taking magician I am today back when I was 17 years old. However, I loved the experience, and I thrived off of the thought that I could be better. I am, to this day, learning and improving, and becoming the best photographer I can be.
After a few more weddings, I fell in love with the job, and began to advertise. It was an unbelievable feeling at first, and to this day still is, that couples actually want to book me.

Stress Free, Documentary Wedding Photography
It can be incredibly daunting to choose a photographer/videographer, especially for big events like your wedding day, but I do my best to keep my clients as stress-free as I possibly can. I pride myself on being a genuine friend to my clients, before even thinking about taking their money! I also ensure that I am the correct fit for my clients. My style is very different to other (amazing!!!) photographer’s in the industry, and I want this to be the main concern when booking.
My style is very natural, warm, and romantic. I don’t like to direct my clients too much- though, of course I will give some flattering tips and posing suggestions. I like my work to be representative of the client/or couple, hence why I like to get to know each and every one of them before I begin photographing at all. This enables us to get photos that we will all be happy with.
