South Wales Wedding Photographer- Honey and Heather

Hey there!!! I’m Heather. The (main) photographer here at Honey & Heather. I specialise predominantly in Wedding Photography, but also dabble in Female Empowerment & Boudoir work as well.

I began photographing weddings back when I was just 17. It definitely wasn’t a love at first job thing for me, but progressively over the first few years, I thought ‘Wow, I could get good at this’. Naturally, at first, I found photographing weddings highly stressful and super intense events to get my head around.

Now, however, I absolutely adore photographing weddings. I’ve completely found my style of editing, as well as a style of photographing that is true to me- and just works really well. I like to keep a very true to life edit with my photographs, and I think this really adds to the warm nature of my compositions themselves. I make sure that everybody is having fun at weddings I attend, especially during the formal shots. Nobody wants to be standing in a line and listening to some woman say ‘smile everyone’ for an hour. I focus on keeping formal shots up-beat and fairly quick!

I’m about to be thrown into the deep end of summer season this week, with three weddings in one go! I’m so very excited to get started with the season, and photograph over 40 weddings in the next few months. Lord knows the instagram is going to look fireeeee *inserts fire emoji*.
