My Dream Destinations for Wedding Photography!

Jess & Alvin, Engagement photoshoot in Porto, Portugal

This is a post i’ve been meaning to do for so so long. The countless posts on instagram I see of these INCREDIBLE destination elopements & weddings have made me insanely optimistic about getting my own!

At the end of this post-i’ll get into my absolute dream locations to photograph Destination weddings. But for now, lets take a look at some of the places I have shot at around the world!

As many of you will already know (if you’ve followed me on instagram for long enough), I am an avid traveller & adventurer. I’m usually all over the world, experiencing new cultures and exploring new landscapes. I absolutely adore my job for allowing me to do this- and I adore it so much more when I get to bring my photography into it as well!

I have been so very lucky throughout the last few years to have been able to photograph individuals, as well as couples all over the world.

Fe & Chiel, Couple Photoshoot in Budapest

From Portugal, to the Netherlands, from Barcelona all the way to Thailand. I’ve managed to capture some incredible couples in some incredible places. My only hope is that I can turn this into destination weddings rather than just destination engagement photoshoots!

All of these locations that you see in this post are absolutely beautiful. But the Fishermans Bastion (Where I shot Fe & Chiel’s couple photoshoot in Budapest) takes the cake. It was the absolute most incredible place. It’s usually pretty busy, but this just makes me work harder to find hidden locations, and improve on my patience skills…

Now!!! Onto the good stuff.

My bucket list.

Or, more specifically; my Destination Wedding Bucket list! (It’s going to be condensed)

Lara & Simon, Engagement photoshoot in Pai, Thailand

  1. The Dolomites, Italy. This is an epic one for me. I am a massive hiker & adventurer, and so to be able to combine my love for Couple photography, with my love of adventure, would just be an absolute dream come true.

Images not taken by me.

2. Tuscany, Italy. What do I even have to say here? Can’t you imagine the pictures of a beautiful newly married couple, running along the roaming hills of Tuscany, the roads lined with vineyards. An absolute dream.

3. Reynisfjara, Iceland. You’ve probably noticed by now that I adore greenery, particularly within mountainous landscapes. However, I also adored exploring the rugged landscapes of Iceland, and it has been a dream to photograph a wedding or elopement along the black sand beaches of this island.

4. The Superbloom, California. Heading further away for this one, but why the heck not! This is genuinely one that is just on my bucket list to witness in person. But i’d also absolutely love to photograph an elopement or wedding in California whilst the wildflowers are going crazy during the superbloom.

5. Montenegro. Very similar to the beautiful coast of Croatia, Montenegro is an incredible place that has absolutely everything! Water, mountains & a heck of a lot of greenery. (totally my vibe) I desperately want to photograph a wedding here!

If you managed to make it this far in the blog post, and you’re currently planning your own Destination wedding, I have something special for you! I’m offering my packages 1 & 2 for a massive 50% off.

This means that if you want to book me for your destination wedding, and you decide that package 1 or 2 (usually priced at £1750/£2000) is the one that’s perfect for you, you’ll receive it for half the cost! All I ask is that you also pay for a return flight, and two nights of accommodation.

Quote ‘DESTINATION50’ to me in your enquiry form, and I’ll make sure to note this for you!
