Gold Coast Wedding Venues I’m Most Excited to Photograph when I move!

I’m moving to the Gold Coast this October 2026, and I’m already counting down the days. (Less than 150 now!!!!)

If you’re currently planning a wedding there (or even just venue-hunting), these are the venues at the top of my list - the ones I need to photograph at.

I’ll be taking bookings for October 2026 through to March 2027, with introductory pricing while I build my portfolio as a Gold Coast wedding photographer.

The Bower Estate

This one is non-negotiable for me.

The Bower Estate genuinely looks like something out of Jurassic Park - dense greenery, wild textures, completely immersive nature.

I’m borderline obsessed with dinosaurs (I literally have a full tattoo sleeve), so the idea of shooting a wedding in a setting that feels this prehistoric and untouched is unreal.

From a photography perspective, it’s also just strong:

  • layered greenery = depth in every frame

  • diffused light through trees = soft, flattering skin tones

  • zero need to “force” aesthetic, it literally already exists

If you’re planning something outdoorsy, intimate, or slightly off the beaten path, this is easily one of the most unique Gold Coast wedding venues that i’ve seen!

Nutting Hill Villa

Nutting Hill Villa feels like it shouldn’t even be in Australia.

The pool. The architecture. The tones. It’s giving Marrakesh, and that’s not something I think you see often on the Gold Coast. Prove me wrong, if you’d like!

This is the kind of venue where:

  • editorial-style couple portraits will just happen naturally

  • content feels high-end without trying too hard

  • every corner works as a backdrop

If you want your wedding to feel elevated, modern, and slightly destination-inspired, this is one of the strongest options I’ve seen.

Braeside Estate

Braeside Estate is interesting to me because it doesn’t appear to lock you into one aesthetic.

It’s giving:

  • Vegas chapel

  • Texas barn

  • but also somehow… refined and elegant

That mix means you can take it in multiple directions:

  • laid-back and rustic

  • modern and styled

  • or something more editorial and high-end

From a photographer’s point of view, versatility like this is valuable. It means your gallery won’t look like everyone else’s.

Rosewood Estate

Rosewood Estate is all about the view.

And not in a subtle way - it’s the kind of backdrop that does most of the work for you. I mean, how can you take a bad picture of that? (I’m kidding, of course… invest in your photographer, people. eyeroll)

For couples, that means:

  • your ceremony already feels significant

  • your photos automatically have scale and impact

  • sunset portraits become a key part of the day

If you’re choosing a venue based on how it feels in photos, this one is hard to beat.

Planning a Gold Coast Wedding?

If you’re getting married on the Gold Coast between October 2026 and March 2027, I’m currently taking bookings with introductory pricing while I establish myself in Australia.

I specialise in natural, documentary-style photography, with an Editorial twist - the kind where you’re not pulled away from your day for hours, but still end up with images that feel stunning, polished and intentional.

I’m also an LGBTQ+ ally (and part of the community myself), so if that matters to you when choosing your suppliers, you’re in a safe space here.

If any of these venues are on your list, or you’ve booked one already, I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
