A First Birthday to Remember- Disneyland Paris Family Session

When Bobbi approached me, enquiring about flying me out to France to take photos of Albie’s first birthday at DLP, I thought she was bloody mad. I was intrigued, and obviously excited at the prospect- but definitely didn’t think we’d actually end up doing it!

Here we are, over half a year later, and Allie just turned one in the most magical place. Surrounded by love, laughter and joy. Though, even his grumpy little face had to make a grand appearance.

I met with Bobbi, Mike, and Albie after their early morning breakfast at the park with Pinnoccio. With it being November, the Christmas decorations are all up- and so we chose to meet at the (huge!!!) Christmas tree. We explored some of the different buildings, and headed up the Main Street, straight through Sleeping Beauty’s castle. Then the real magic happened.

We went on a few rides together. Me, trying not to fall off a carousel whilst still taking photos of them enjoying it all- definitely a highlight. After this, we went our separate ways for a while, before rejoining at the end of the day ready for the Christmas Parade! A hectic affair, but nonetheless, a beautiful way to end their incredibly magic day.

So, if you’d like to fly me out to any other countries… feel bloody free! <3
