How I’m Preparing for a Busy 2026 Wedding Season (as well as a move to Australia!!)

2026 is shaping up to be big. Like… really big.
Not only have enquiries started flying in for next year, but I’m also in the middle of planning something huge - my move to Australia in September 2026.

So I thought I’d take you behind the scenes on how I’m preparing for:

  1. A full, exciting 2026 wedding and boudoir season (that is shaping up to be bigger than EVER!)

  2. The start of a whole new photography chapter in Australia

If you’re a 2026 couple, this will give you a look at what’s happening behind the curtain… and why you’ll want to book sooner rather than later!

Organising My UK Wedding Season (Jan–Aug 2026)

My early 2026 calendar is already filling with gorgeous celebrations & female empowerment sessions.

So far I have:

  • March Weddings with STUNNING couples in both Brecon & Bristol.

  • An April filled with dear friends of mine getting married across South Wales.

  • Plentyyyyyy of intimate ceremonies at Insole Court in Cardiff.

  • A summer utterly filled with beautiful celebrations at incredible new venues across England and Wales.

I’m keeping my season intentionally structured so I can give every couple my full energy - especially knowing that by September, I’ll be flying across the world. (AHHHHH!!!!)

To prepare, I’m:

  • Streamlining editing systems

  • Updating all my client questionnaires

  • Planning time for album designs

  • Blocking off key “rest weeks” so I don’t burn out (So important)

  • Scheduling content creation now, so I’m ahead of the game by summer

Preparing For the Move of a Lifetime 🇦🇺

After years of dreaming and planning, I’m finally doing it -
moving to Australia in September 2026.

Right now, I’m:

  • Researching Melbourne, Perth & Sydney suburbs (hello, beachside living 😍)

  • Building location guides for All the potential locations I'll be visiting

  • Starting SEO content for Australia (because Google needs time)

  • Connecting with Australian wedding vendors

  • Soft-launching availability for September-December in Australia

  • Preparing to offer shoots on arrival: weddings, elopements & couples sessions

It feels wild to say it out loud… but it’s happening.

How This Affects You If You’re a UK Couple

Honestly? You’re safe.

I’m here and fully committed to my UK weddings through to September 2026, and then I’ll be back in the UK in May 2027 for shoots and weddings that I've already booked in. I’ll also be heading to Cyprus for a gorgeous destination wedding in March 2027!

Plus:

  • You get the same communication, attention, and timeline help

  • Your photos will still be edited and delivered exactly the same

  • Albums and prints are still UK-based and easy to order

The only difference is that once I move…
I won’t be taking as many UK bookings anymore - so 2026 might be your last chance.

Australia Couples - I’m Coming for You

I’ll be booking:

  • Australian Weddings & Elopements (September 2026 - September 2027)

  • Beachy boudoir sessions

2026 is going to be beautiful.

And I can’t wait to capture every story - here in South Wales, across the UK, and soon on the other side of the world.
