A Gorgeous Wedding at Low Wood Bay, Lake District

Low Wood Bay Hotel is a beautiful venue located in the heart of the Lake District in Cumbria, England. The hotel boasts stunning views of Lake Windermere, and it provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony, as well as couple & group shots on the venue’s private jetty!

Bridal prep was a dream. Lucy’s bridesmaids & maid of honour were absolutely incredible at keeping the environment super fun and stress free. Her team of Hair & MUA’s were brilliant, and did a fabulous job.

The layout of the ceremony room is pretty funky at Low Wood Bay, but it was actually so great to shoot. So bright, with lots of light coming in, and guests can literally see Lake Windermere in all it’s glory through the giant windows all the way around!

The light was absolutely perfect all day. Overcast but still warm & bright. It felt like a constant sunset for hours! And when we eventually did get the sunset.. it was gorgeous.

Usually at a wedding, the speeches aren’t the part that i’m most excited for. But oh golly. First of all, look at this gorgeous room! The colours worked so perfectly with my editing style. It looked so perfect. Not to mention the speeches themselves. I was (almost) an emotional wreck, and fully had to keep my eye on the ball to not forget to take photos!

This was such an incredible day & i’m desperate to shoot here again! Thank you so much to Lucy & Stefan for having me <3
