For example, when I was younger I always avoided conflict (I still do!) and I always thought that if I were confronted with a violent conflict or had to risk my own health for someone else, that I would turn and run. I would not admit that, but I knew that I would react that way given the situation. However, when one day, my docile male friend was confronted by a drunk violent young miner, I did not run away.
